Overview

Totally Spies!: Cyber Mission is a game published by Microids, based on the Totally Spies! animated series. During my internship at Balio Studio, I contributed to the development of the game by supporting various aspects such as bug fixing, UI rework, asset integration, and gameplay enhancements.


My Role

Bug Fixing & Multi-Platform Testing

  • Identified, reproduced, and helped fix gameplay bugs to ensure smooth mechanics.
  • Participating in multi-platform testing, ensuring consistent performance across devices.
  • Used Mantis, Jira, and Perforce for tracking and resolving issues efficiently.

UI Rework – Level Selection & Mission End Screens

  • Improved the level selection screen, integrating collectible tracking to reflect player progress.
  • Enhanced the mission end screen, implementing score, stats, and achievement displays for better player feedback.

Dialogue Integration & Character Animations

  • Assisted in integrating dialogues, ensuring they were properly displayed in the game at the right moment.
  • Verified and corrected character animations during dialogues, making interactions feel natural and fluid.
  • Worked closely with the narrative and development teams to ensure synchronization between text and context.

Visual Guide and Quest Integration (Mission 3A)

  • Integrated quest text and visual guides, helping players navigate and understand mission objectives.
  • Collaborated with the narrative team to implement the objectives and ensure consistency within the mission.

Sound Integration & Ambient Triggers

  • Implemented ambient music triggers, ensuring musics played at the right moments.

Animation Using Unity Timelines (Mission 4A)

  • Created a little in-game cinematic animation using Unity Timelines.
